Dr Nasir Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation

Lab tests at home

Back to normal.

Quick answer

DNPR arranges home collection of routine blood and diagnostic samples across Delhi, with reports delivered digitally. It exists for patients for whom travelling to a laboratory is the difficult part — after surgery, after a stroke, and for elderly or bed-bound patients.

For most people, going to a laboratory is a minor errand. For somebody three weeks after a hip replacement, or somebody being rehabilitated after a stroke, it is the hardest thing they will do that week — and it is often the reason a test the doctor asked for simply does not get done.

That is the gap this service exists to fill. We arrange collection of routine blood and diagnostic samples at home across Delhi, and reports come back to you and, if you want, to whoever asked for the test.

How it works

  • Tell us the tests, or send a photo of the prescription
  • We confirm the price and the fasting requirements before anyone travels
  • A trained collector visits at an agreed time
  • Reports are sent to you digitally, and to your clinician if you ask

Commonly requested

The panels our rehabilitation patients are most often asked for.

Routine screening

Complete blood count, blood sugar including HbA1c, lipid profile, kidney and liver function.

Bone and muscle

Vitamin D, calcium, vitamin B12 — frequently relevant in fracture recovery, persistent musculoskeletal pain and falls.

Inflammation and thyroid

ESR, CRP, uric acid, thyroid profile. Often requested where joint pain is widespread rather than local.

A note on what this is not. We are a physiotherapy and rehabilitation practice. We arrange collection and pass on reports; we do not interpret results or diagnose from them. Take your report to the doctor who requested it.

Frequently asked questions

Who is this for?
Mainly people who find the journey harder than the test: patients recovering from surgery, stroke or fracture, elderly patients, and anyone who is bed-bound. If you can comfortably get to a laboratory, going directly is usually cheaper and faster.
How long do reports take?
Routine blood work is typically reported within 24 hours of collection. Specialised tests take longer, and we will tell you the expected turnaround when you book rather than after.
Do I need a prescription?
For most routine panels, no. Some tests require one. Send us the test name and we will tell you before anyone travels.
Can the physiotherapist collect the sample?
No. Sample collection is done by trained phlebotomy staff, separately from your physiotherapy appointment.
