Immobilization phase
• Patient is laid down in supine position with operated limb slightly elevated and in neutral position
• Pillows are used to prevent contractures and maintaining the desired position

Minimum Protection Phase
• Ankle pump exercises
• Deep breathing exercises
• Achieve independent functional mobility prior to discharge
