Quick answer
Home physiotherapy brings a qualified physiotherapist to your address with the equipment your condition requires. It suits people who cannot travel comfortably — after surgery, after a stroke, or with significant pain — and lets treatment be adapted to your actual stairs, bed and bathroom.
Home visits account for roughly one in five of the physiotherapy sessions we deliver. For many patients they are not a convenience but the only practical option in the weeks when travelling is genuinely difficult.
Who it suits
- Recovery in the first weeks after surgery, when movement is restricted
- Stroke and neurological rehabilitation, particularly early on
- Elderly patients for whom travel is tiring or risky
- Anyone whose pain makes a car or auto journey worse than the treatment is worth
- Bedbound patients and those needing chest physiotherapy
What the therapist brings
Assessment equipment, mobilisation and soft tissue treatment, resistance bands and weights appropriate to your stage, and portable electrotherapy where it is indicated. Heavy gym equipment obviously stays at the centre, which is why some programmes move to a centre once you are mobile enough.
The advantage nobody mentions
Treating you at home means the exercises are set up around your actual furniture — your bed height, your stairs, your bathroom, your chair. Rehabilitation designed on clinic equipment often does not transfer to a home that looks nothing like it.
Coverage
We cover all of Delhi. Areas with an established caseload have the shortest waits, and where we have a centre nearby the therapist is dispatched from there. You can check your specific area with the coverage tool on this site.
